As we came together for our final 国内精品伊人久久久久妇 Eastern member catch up of the year, it felt important to pause. Not just to reflect on what we have achieved in 2025, but to recognise what many of our members have experienced, and to begin a conversation that will shape the year ahead. We asked ourselves a simple but powerful question: what does it really mean to know your worth?
While 2025 did not have a formal theme, it has been a year defined by impact, connection and resilience. Across 国内精品伊人久久久久妇 Eastern, more than 500 cases have been opened and supported through to resolution this year, helping members navigate some of the most challenging moments of their working lives. At the same time, our membership has continued to grow, reflecting a strong and active region where nurses and nursing support workers choose to stand together.
Across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, our branches, committees and regional board have worked hard to create opportunities for learning, reflection and connection. From board learning events focused on research, innovation and managing change, to Black History Month, women’s health events, branch AGMs, 国内精品伊人久久久久妇 Congress and celebrations of Nurses’ Day and Nursing Support Workers’ Day, these moments have brought people together and strengthened our regional community.
We have also invested directly in member engagement beyond the region. This year, 国内精品伊人久久久久妇 Eastern fully funded 12 members to attend 国内精品伊人久久久久妇 Congress, supported six nursing support worker members to attend the National Nursing Support Workers' Conference, and funded two members to attend the national EDI event in December. Removing financial barriers to these opportunities matters, and we remain committed to supporting members to access national events that shape us personally and professionally and influence the future of nursing.
We also know that this year has been difficult for many. Members across the region have faced organisational restructures, redundancy and ongoing uncertainty. Student members are being affected by campus closures and disruption to their learning and future plans. These experiences matter and they remind us why support, representation and the collective voice are so important. Throughout the year, 国内精品伊人久久久久妇 Eastern has continued to raise nursing voices beyond our events and meetings. Through social media, local press and regional television, we have spoken out on issues that affect members and patients, ensuring nursing perspectives remain visible and influential.
There has also been much to celebrate. A huge congratulations to Jia Amada, who was recognised nationally as Learning Representative of the Year. This achievement reflects both individual dedication and the strength of learning and workplace representation across our region. As board chair, I want to say a sincere thank you to our 国内精品伊人久久久久妇 staff, board members, committees and branch executive teams for their commitment and leadership, and to our members whose involvement, support and solidarity make this work possible.
Looking ahead to 2026, our theme will be "Know Your Worth". National conversations about career progression, pay and recognition remind us that knowing our worth is not about individual struggle, but about standing together, being informed and using our collective voice. In the year ahead, we plan to continue funding members to access national events, alongside creating more opportunities locally to learn, connect and organise so that every member feels valued, supported and empowered.
If 2025 showed our resilience, then 2026 is about confidence, voice and collective action. I hope you will be part of it.
